i found the 'house chips' were NOT what i expected. they were thin, tasteless fries. they tasted like the type you get at any fast food place. the fries were a major DISAPPOINTMENT.

The building had interesting historic references. I especially appreciated the ancient Menhir inside the pub and stones in the garden. My room was large. The bedlinen was also fantastic.
The superhot room had NO fan. I also found mould in the bathroom. The bed was noisy. I couldn't move without it making noise.

we had a nice stay in early july the room was perfect and the bed was comfortable historic elements scattered throughout the building added a special touch the conversation in the pub with jd was enjoyable the food was delicious especially the fish and chips and scallops.

my room had a huge four poster bed that ensured a fantastic night's sleep the bedlinen was of great quality and the room was large the room provided ample space and comfort the bathroom was very nice and unique.

the staff were warm cute and helpful they were attentive to our needs and provided excellent service the staff were knowledgeable about the history of the place simon the host was hilarious and made us feel at home he is a true people person.
